Our story
Built On Craftsmanship And Follow-Through
We're a Visalia general contracting team led by Merari, handling everything from full home renovations to bathroom remodels, flooring, electrical work, and room additions. We show up on the jobs we take, work the late nights and weekends it takes to hit a deadline, and stay hands-on from first walkthrough to final coat of paint.
We'd rather tell you the truth about how something will turn out than overpromise and disappoint you later. That means clear communication throughout the project, care for your home while we work (dust control, debris removal, staying out of your way), and pricing that matches the quote we gave you before we started.
Our clients keep calling us back for the next room, the next remodel, the next project, and that repeat business is the result we're proudest of.
- 5-star rated on every Google review
- Hands-on ownership on every job
- Finishes matching the original quote
- In-house electrical expertise
What customers say
“I honestly cannot fully express how amazing Merari was. We hired him to renovate a home we purchased. He worked for us for about six months turning a house into our dream home... Not only is he excellent at his job, he is extremely professional and honest. If he promised me things would be done, he made sure it got done if it was at all in his control. Even working many late nights and weekends by himself to make sure it got done... His prices were fair and he takes great pride in his work. He never promised what he can't deliver. Best contractor ever in my opinion.”
“Merari and his team remodeled our hall bath and it is just beautiful! They did an amazing job with installing a new tub/shower combination with gorgeous subway tile, new antique looking fixtures, new ceiling fan and new window over the tub... Not only did they do a fantastic job they were conscientious about the dust, debris removal and dodging our 5 kids... They finished the job within a very short time and on budget! The final cost of the job matched the initial quote Merari gave us before the work began.”
“Nick the electrician did some electrical work for my front house lights. Very professional, answered all my questions, and provided high quality work. He resolved my electrical issue and now I have bright lights! Ty Nick and thank you Modern Home Renovations for helping me out!”
